The solution was to provide 3 MobileTrak5® Systems equipped with 4Post Shelving, reference shelves for ease of use, and tambour doors for security. Files were converted to end tab filing and color coded to help with visibility and easy retrieval. This set up reduced the 10 filing locations down to 3.
Ultimately, the new systems eliminated a number of issues for the department, freed up valuable floor space for other uses by 80%, and improved their productivity. The added security of the TambourDoors helped with HIPAA compliance.
