Watertown Police Department organizes their evidence storage with MobileTrak®.


During their move to a new building, the Watertown Police Department discovered that their current bulk shelving capacity wasn't adequate for their growing needs. They contacted Datum Filing Systems for assistance.

Datum Solution

The solution was installing three MobileTrak® Systems equipped with 4Post™ shelving. These systems were modified to fit in existing non-Datum track in the floor. The new systems housed their evidence storage and archival records, as well as frequently accessed open records and files.

Result

With the new systems, the police department had ample space for their existing needs, as well as space for expansion later. Modifiying the MobileTrak® units to fit the existing track meant that the police department didn't have to spend additional money on construction efforts to dig up the grouted track and install new ones.
